Any adult 18 years of age or older who wishes to complete their initiation in the Catholic Church by receiving one or more of the Sacraments of Initiation is invited to participate in the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA).

The RCIA involves classes that incorporate a process of formation through which a person comes to know more about the Catholic faith and becomes introduced into the parish community.

All adults, college-age and up, who are interested in learning about the Catholic faith is welcome.  Successful completion of this series of instruction will prepare a person to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Eucharist, and Confirmation) at the end of the course, if desired.  

Thus, these classes are not only to prepare one to receive the sacraments of Initiation; but also to afford an opportunity to learn more about the Catholic faith and to become involved in the parish community.

Registration takes place during the month of September.  Those who wish to participate are invited to come to the Parish Office to fill out the registration form, which needs to be completed and on file prior to starting the classes.  Please bring a copy of your birth certificate to be submitted with the registration form.  If you are already baptized, please bring a copy of your Baptism certificate.  The cost of the registration is $55.00 in cash or check.
